Pontiac Trans Am. Great "turn-key" Race Car. It is streetable, but just barely. The engine/transmission is a 406 SBC with a Turbo 400/2800TCI Converter. The rearend is a Mopar 8.75" with 3.91 Posi. I have well over $6000 in Parts alone(not including the car)!! Needs very little to be nice again. The paint is over 10 years old and weak, plus it has a couple of small rust spots in the typical spots on the rear quarters. The car has been in storage since 1998, but started monthly. It runs very straight and very quick 7.9s to 8.0s @ 90mph in 1/8 mile. This is NOT a daily driver. Price - $4000.00 |
